Spring is here

I like it when April appears, and we get that occasional warm evening, in which we find ourselves hanging on street corners down the backs of alleyways or outside of parties, sitting by the trash and thinking "yes! it's nearly summer. And it's going to be so much fun."

I have been watching a lot of My So Called Life recently, Carla and I went through a phase of watching this a lot in the winter. I remember watching this during my adolescence in 1995, I would watch it with my older sister and remembering how raw it was, and identifying (as every teen did) with Angela.

I watched the episode Life of Brian last night, and this part made me so happy. Oh Ricky. I wish I could take you dancing.

Release The Bats

Last night I worked at Release the Bats at The Forum, as one of the judges for the 'Best Halloween Costume' competition. Lightning Bolt, Les Savy Fav, Shellac and more performed live... back again tonight for the second night! Happy Halloween!
